Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the PoolChoice website at poolchoice.com.au (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. What PoolChoice is

PoolChoice is an information and directory service that helps Australian homeowners research and find pool builders. PoolChoice is not a pool builder, not a contractor, and is not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a builder. We provide a platform for connection and information only.

3. No guarantee of builder quality

PoolChoice does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the quality, workmanship, reliability, or suitability of any builder listed in the directory. Homeowners must conduct their own due diligence before engaging any builder. We strongly recommend obtaining multiple quotes, checking reviews, verifying credentials, and seeking independent legal and financial advice before signing any contract.

4. Licensing disclaimer

Pool builders in Australia are generally required to hold a state-issued licence or registration, but requirements vary by state. PoolChoice displays licence or registration information where it has been provided by the builder or obtained from publicly available sources. We do not independently verify this information. Always confirm licensing and credentials directly with the builder and the relevant state building authority before proceeding.

5. Reviews

Reviews displayed on PoolChoice are submitted by users and reflect their personal experience. PoolChoice is not responsible for the content of reviews. We moderate for spam and abusive content only. We do not remove reviews because a builder requests removal of a negative review.

6. Builder listings

Pool builders are listed in the directory for free. Paid tiers allow builders to receive lead notifications through the platform. Placement within the directory is based on ratings and reviews, not on the level of payment made to PoolChoice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PoolChoice and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, or dispute arising from your use of this Site or from any engagement with a builder listed in the directory. This includes but is not limited to loss arising from poor workmanship, contract disputes, licensing issues, or reliance on information displayed on the Site.

8. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact
